A Match of Wits by Jen Turano

I completely enjoyed reading A Match of Wits!  Jen Turano has penned an entertaining read that keeps the reader guessing.  It's a fun peak into the culture of the day, and the life of a woman who pushes the limits.  Two thumbs up!

Woman of Courage by Wanda Brunstetter

This story, Woman of Courage, took a little while for me to connect with.  The main character, Amanda, speaks in Quaker English and I was put off by it for a while.  As the story progressed, it became more and more interesting, and by the middle, I was interested to see what would happen to the characters.  Amanda's bravery is inspiring, as she faces all sorts of challenges that aren't even on my radar screen today.
