The Prince Who Was Just Himself

I had the opportunity recently to read and review The Prince Who Was Just Himself, by Silke Schnee.  This is a delightful book - we loved both the story and the illustrations.  My kids understood that the little prince was different from other kids and they LOVED how he played a pivotal role in his kingdom.  I recommend this book for families with a kiddo with Downs, but I also think it's a great read for ALL kids.  It helps develop understanding and a valuing for kids that are different!

Together With You by Victoria Bylin

Victoria Bylin has created a great story in her newest novel, Together With You.   It was an enjoyable read that kept me engaged.  I really appreciated the view into inherent challenges of parenting a special needs child.   The love and faith angles of the story were sweet additions to the novel.  I recommend it!

Sabotaged by Dani Pettrey

I loved every minute of Dani Pettrey's newest work, Sabotaged.   I loved it so much I immediately headed to the library to find her other books.  I'm diving into Shattered now!   The story was everything it promised: intrigue, suspense, romance and a clean story line.   Highly recommend!

Beyond All Dreams by Elizabeth Camden

I'm not normally a fan of historical fiction, but I loved Beyond All Dreams by Elizabeth Camden!  Her story and excellent character development hooked me just a few pages in.  I was excited to see how the story would end, and especially loved Anna's surprise "test" towards the end.  Great read!

A Most Inconvenient Marriage by Regina Jennings

A Most Inconvenient Marriage was a great read!   Regina Jennings hooked me from the beginning with her plot, and kept me guessing with how it would turn out.  I grew attached to the characters, and enjoyed this glimpse into the post-Civil War era.
