I've enjoyed other books by Lisa Wingate and jumped at the opportunity to review this one. She did not disappoint in her newest release, Firefly Island. I read it in two days, amidst homeschooling and the general busyness of life, and didn't want to put it down!
Engaging from the beginning, Lisa draws you into the world of a DC staffer transformed into The Frontier Woman, and there's never a dull moment. For readers that enjoy Christian-based fiction with a hint of romance and suspense/intrigue, this is a book for you. Her writing is clean, and the story doesn't contain any violence. In my opinion, it's a great level of suspense!
